Congratulations to Toomah: members Jay Forman & Joe Gruca win GRA/TAG Award!
June 8, 2010
Congratulations to roam members Jay Forman & Joe Gruca of Toomah on their recent award as Georgia’s most promising new technology company: Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) and Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Business Launch ’10! GRA/TAG joined forces to support the creation and growth of new companies that will strengthen and expand Georgia’s strategic high-tech clusters. This event, designed to help a local start up technology-based company launch its business, provides the winner with $250,000 in cash and prizes.
Toomah is truly a roam entrepreneurial success story: after launching their business at roam, they networked among the local community and capitilized on the affordable meeting space as a cost effective office strategy.
“roam has been integral to the success of our business,” says Toomah founder Jay Forman. “Through a roam open coffee event, we were introduced to the ATDC, who turned out to be a tremendous catalyst for us. roam enables to keep our meeting costs low, while also leveraging their rich networking environment, which led to new partnerships and client opportunities.”
Toomah software provides automated interviewing tools that significantly reduce hiring costs. Click here for more information about Toomah.
