Roam member TITIN outfits winner of Masters
April 12, 2012
It was a big weekend for Masters’ winner, Bubba Watson and Roam member, Patrick Whaley.
Whaley is the creator of TITIN, a company that specializes in weighted athletic apparel. Their mission is “to provide innovative athletic apparel that is not just about the brand alone, but the science fueling the brand.” This patented apparel is said to increase “strength, speed, agility, and performance.” TITIN outfits sports teams from schools such as UGA and Georgia Tech, in addition to well known athletes. One of these athletes happens to be professional golfer, Bubba Watson, who wears TITIN apparel everyday to work on his swing. This product is fresh on the market, but it may be no coincidence that the year Watson began using TITIN, he won the Masters!
Roam congratulates Whaley and the TITIN team on this victory!

Big Fish Sushi Bar – PC repairs/updates right on site at roam!
September 14, 2011
Having trouble with your PC? Walk in to the Sushi Bar.
If you have questions about your Windows PC, you can get support right here at roam meeting and workspace in Alpharetta. No need to go to your local computer store. The store has come to you, and it has brought the best IT guys with it.
The Sushi Bar is at roam regularly (dedicated on Mondays and Thursdays) , scheduling reservations for training, helping entrepreneurs with the head-scratching computer problems, and accepting laptop and PC drop-offs for those really time-consuming issues. Viruses, annoying error messages, data recovery, business IT advice, or just curiosity, the Sushi Bar is open!
Sushi?
Not really. But if we could be compared to it, we’d be the best Sushi Bar in town. Our sushi “Chefs” (IT Guys) are top notch, and they have the Big Fish team behind them. We’ll tackle your problem or give you the information you need with a full business IT staff’s worth of knowledge.
How do I make a reservation with a Sushi Chef?
If you are at roam, just go to the Sushi Bar and see if a Big Fish IT Guy is available to schedule you in. Otherwise call us at 678.528.7713 ext 5 and we’ll schedule your reservation.
What do I need to bring to a reservation?
Reservations typically are concerning laptops or mobile devices; so make sure to have the battery, power cords and installation media available. Also bring your accessories like a wireless mouse or headset.
What is an average appointment like?
If this is a troubleshooting appointment, you’ll be invited to take a seat at the Sushi Bar and power on your equipment. The Sushi Chef working with you gathers information about your system and the symptoms you’ve experienced and works toward a solution. If your product requires repair, the Chef discusses your repair options, explains any applicable charges, and checks in your equipment for repair. Expect the session to last 15 minutes to an hour.
If this is a consulting or training appointment, you’ll be invited to take a seat at the Sushi Bar and power on your equipment (if applicable). These appointments last one hour and are vetted for proper instruction prior to the meeting so that we make sure you don’t get any “bad sushi”.
Can I drop off my laptop or PC?
We recommend it! It is much more cost effective to drop off a PC instead of making an appointment, but we understand urgent circumstances and will gladly schedule a one hour appointment if we need to try and fix something while you’re here. There’s a Service Check-In form at the Sushi Bar and on our website that you can fill out prior to dropping it off.
We do need your installation media and power cords (for laptops). When you arrive to drop it off, our chef will look the form over, make sure it has everything we need and charge for the necessary fees. We’ll follow up with you via your preferred method of communication the next business day to give you an initial diagnosis and estimated time to have the unit back in the Sushi Bar for pickup.
Anything else?
Sure! Check out our other services that help keep your PC or laptop out of the shop, protected, and backed up.
